Our Story
A veteran of high tech marketing, Kelley’s work has taken her from the Bay Area to the Pacific Northwest, the Central Coast of California and finally, to Nashville, Tennessee. Yearning to leave a meaningful legacy for her children, Kelley saw an opportunity to marry her passion for entertaining with her desire to serve her community.
Taking inspiration from some of the most celebrated chefs on the Monterey Peninsula, she launched Carmel Private Chef in 2017, with the sole mission to create not just an elegant meal – but a sensory experience. In that time, she has cooked for numerous families, executives & chairmen of global Fortune 500 firms, race car drivers, celebrities, pro golfers, senators, authors and musicians, as well as friends and neighbors. Operating with utmost discretion, Kelley is accustomed to working under strict NDA at the request of many clients. She has also been hired as an event planner for intimate weddings, providing everything from the engagement photoshoot to the vendor relations and catering on the big day.
Additionally, in 2019 she also launched a “Date Night In” pilot program with Coastal Kids Home Care, providing chef-prepared meals to the caregivers of pediatric patients in Monterey County.
Three years after embarking on her culinary journey, Kelley embraced the opportunity to expand the market she serves, launching Nashville Private Chef in Middle TN. She believes that it is in the collection of life’s everyday moments, that we have the opportunity to live with passion.
At Nashville Private Chef, we are intentional in all we do, and mindful to adopt practices that promote sustainability and healthy choices within our community. We recognize that having high standards should be the norm – not the exception. Therefore, we strive to eliminate food waste – donating excess and composting where possible.
We bring our love of over-the-top, high-quality cooking to you with no fuss, and we are heralded for preparing clean, healthy meals in an elegant way. Working with each client’s unique needs, we cultivate original menus with local, seasonal and organic ingredients with utmost quality and integrity.
We host small, intimate dinner parties at private homes throughout Sumner County and the greater Nashville area. In addition, we proudly serve corporate events, have held small bites pairings in tasting rooms, created farm-to-table meals in off-grid communities among the oaks and the vines… and facilitated VIP retreats at elaborate villas in some of the most exclusive private communities in the country. Each experience is unique – therefore our most rewarding work is showcasing our creativity and collaborating with clients.
